Pinus ‘Osmaston Compact’ (Pinus densiflora ‘Osmaston Compact’)

Description

Another dwarf cultivar of the “Japanese Red Pine”. Similar to Pinus densiflora ‘Low Glow’ in its rounded habit, but the needles are longer and a darker green colour. It also is slightly quicker in its growth. It should reach approximately 1 metre by 1 metre in the first 10 years. As with most Pines, a sunny position is best. Ideal for rockeries, Japanese gardens or patio pots.
