Description
Golden Maple is noted for its interestingly varied leaf colour display. The foliage are rich red when young, before turning bright yellow and then green in Summer. It has a tidy, dome shaped canopy of slender branches. It is best positioned in a sunny location, where its changing display of leaf colour can be seen at its best advantage.
Golden Maple is not suitable for urban or exposed sites. Acer cappadocicum Aureum trees can reach a height of about 15 metres. Grey bark is smooth on young trees.
